Mrs. Shephard's classes read a story titled, "Faster, Farther, Higher." Students learned the history & parts of the skateboard. Today skaters do tricks people never thought were even possible. Students then created ramps, in the Makerspace, to send skaters even higher!

Mrs. Barrington's Sixth Grade Science classes taught Mrs. Zechman and Mrs. Burden's Second Graders all about the Rock Cycle. They did this by reading them the story they created about their Journey through the Rock Cycle.

In Miss Presar's technology class, 5th graders are learning about different careers in STEM fields. Over the last two weeks both classes have designed, created, & tested their own Halloween catapults. Teams competed to see which catapult could launch candy pumpkins the farthest.

Last week Mrs. Casey's class discussed the steps of making a scarecrow, and what things were needed to make a scarecrow. They participated in making a scarecrow as a class. The scarecrow was entered into the scarecrow contest at Legacy Park in Cridersville.
