Tomorrow, on Thursday, April 25, students in Grades 6-10 will be taking the End of Course Tests in Math, Algebra, and Geometry. Please encourage your child to get a good night's rest, eat a good breakfast, and try their best on the test. The results can be used to determine graduation eligibility and if students are on track for graduation.
Also, please make sure their Chromebook is charged and that they arrive at school on time to begin testing in the morning.

The 3rd grade listened to a presentation about water pollution and soil erosion from the Augalize Soil and Water Conservation District(ASWCD). Chris Davis was the presenter and brought along her "waterscape" model to show how pollution such as oil, trash, grass clippings, and dirt can wash into our waterways and end up in our rivers and lakes. Students were challenged to come up with ways to filter the pollutants before they get to our fresh water sources. The ASWCD also passed out stickers and an activity book for each of the students to learn more about water and soil. Thank you ASWCD!

Mrs. Barrington’s science classes competed in March Mammal Madness by completing a bracket and watching simulated battles. Congratulations to this years winners!

The WG Preschool wrapped up their How It’s Built STEM Series by learning about how cars are built. They assembled their cars by adding a powertrain (that included a balloon engine) to the body of the car; then they added axles and wheels. Finally, we went outside to test and fix the cars.

Tonight's HS BB/SB games at Ridgedale have been postponed. A make up date is to be determined.
