W-G's little Kindergarten students fit the part of "Pajama Day" quite well ! One class was extra sleepy in their pajamas while the other class was ready to learn about saying "NO" to drugs ! Great job kids!

Mrs. Barrington's 7th Grade Science classes have been learning about Energy Transfer. Students had to find where radiation, convection, and conduction were involved in the making of a s'more.

Some of our senior band and flag students were able to attend the Ohio State Skull Session in Columbus recently!

Every year, Mrs. Howard's classes make monthly crafts to give to a local group of senior citizens that meet at the church here in town. Earlier this month, her class invited the group to their classroom to play games and share some of their favorite homemade snacks.

Chief Motter made an appearance in the Kindergarten to talk about the meaning of Red Ribbon Week and how important making "good" choices is.

Our 4th and 5th grade students took a trip to the Allen County Museum to extend their learning for minerals and early travel for both of their science and social studies classes earlier this week.

Reminder : Next week is Red Ribbon Week! Plan to help us celebrate by participating in dress up days!

Miss Brinkman's 6th graders have been working hard on their positive and negative space projects. How cool are these?!

Mrs. Shephard's classes read a story titled, "Faster, Farther, Higher." Students learned the history & parts of the skateboard. Today skaters do tricks people never thought were even possible. Students then created ramps, in the Makerspace, to send skaters even higher!

Junior marching band member, Drake, created & printed a banner to precede the W-G Marching Band as it participates in area parades. The banner was printed in the school's MakerDen. Check out Drake's banner this week at the Wapakoneta Halloween Parade! Good work Drake! Go Tigers!

Thank you to all who have donated chalk! Our students are more than thankful!
