
Mrs. Lee took her Physics & Astronomy classes & visited the eRockets warehouse in Dayton to built their first rocket prototypes for the American Rocketry Challenge. Their rockets must reach a height of 820 ft & return to Earth is 43-46 seconds to qualify for Nationals in May.


I received an update from C-R's Athletic Director this morning on their injured player. He was released from the hospital late last night and has regained his feeling and was up and walking around. He even joined his teammates this morning! Thank you for all your prayers and we continue to wish for a speedy recovery!

Students in Mr. Wireman's class worked to create a model of the Solar System by coding Sphero robots! Even though we didn't get the whole system in working order - a lot of students were able to get their planets revolving around the sun!


It's beginning to look like Fall in Kindergarten!
Both classes did math fall trees, sequencing with "There was an Old Lady Who Swallowed Some Leaves," and some fine motor tree activities!


Homecoming festivities begin on Monday, September 25th. We can't wait to see our students and staff participate!

Earlier this week, the Yearbook class went to Wapakoneta High School for the Josten's Yearbook Conference. Students learned about the yearbook program, how to create yearbook themes, how to get high-quality photos on phones, and current trends to add to the yearbook.


Mrs. Szippl and Mr. Wireman conducted a co-teaching lesson with their students earlier this week. The students were able to participate in a game called "Speed Round" to review for their test coming up.


6th Grade science students reviewed the Big Idea, "What is a mineral?" by sketch-noting on whiteboards.

W-G's Second Graders are learning about spiders. They each found 3 facts, made hats and then shared their facts with their friends!

Did you know that today is International Dot Day?
Miss Brinkman's students that she has for art have participated in making a dot for international dot day. Dot day was inspired by and came from the book "The Dot" by Peter Reynolds.


Miss Hennon's Officiating class had the opportunity to referee the WGYSA football game last night at W-G! Dalton , Drew & Ty are working toward becoming OHSAA certified football officials! Mr. Spencer officiated with them & it was a great experience all around. Great job boys!

Mrs. Searson's Life Skills class & Mr. Schnippel's Food Science class went shopping for meal ingredients & kitchen needs. Students created lists & were able to shop for the needed supplies. Auglaize Co. Pork Producers gave a donation to purchase pork products at Kah's Meats!


Tony and Sabrina from P.A.S.S presented Catch My Breath, a vape education program, to Mrs. Kinstle's 6th grade Social Studies classes. They made Warning Signs to encourage others to not start vaping.


Some of W-G's students took a trip with Mr. Schnippel to the Auglaize County Soil Judging earlier this morning.
