W-G FFA Members tour Rodes Meats, a new processing facility in Delphos, OH on their way to attend the 97th National FFA Convention in Indianapolis.
WG sent 6 junior representatives to the annual OHSAA Student Leadership Conference at Princeton HS in Cincinnati. This year's theme "I See You" focused on providing students with the tools to create a transformational culture, one that builds strong character and leadership traits. The type of traits that will benefit them, their school and community.
Our Kindergarten had a BLAST visiting Suters Farm yesterday! They got to learn about nature, ride a hayride, choose a pumpkin, & were even gifted themed coloring books & stickers!
Safe travels to some of our FFA students and Mr. Schnippel as they headed out bright and early this morning to the 97th National FFA Convention!

The W-G Cheerleaders want to thank everyone who donated/sponsored our Breast Cancer Fundraiser. We were able to donate $1,000 to The James Breast Cancer Care Center in Columbus!

Mrs. Barrington's 8th grade science class experimented with density so that they could relate it to how the layers of Earth formed.
Mrs. Barrington's 6th graders practiced identifying Igneous Rocks as Intrusive or Extrusive!
Mrs. Casey's class graduated from school supply boot camp!! Students learned the expectations, and do's and don't of using their school supplies. They completed "challenges" to become certified in using pencils, crayons, scissors, glue, Play-Doh, watercolors and markers! If they successfully completed the challenge they received a "dog tag" on their necklace!
If you didn't like your school pictures the first time around, picture re-takes will take place on Monday, October 14th!

Three of Ms. Hennon's students from her officiating class passed their football officiating exam & had the opportunity to referee the JH football game last night at W-G! They received several compliments from the other referees & the coaches! Great job guys!
The 2nd Grade took a field trip to The Maize at Little Darby Creek. They got to choose their own pumpkins, learn about a farm, and take a trip through the corn maize!
